Tuesday's notes from the media

Here are some of the notes from today's media about the situation with Saab.

Jöran Hägglund, the Government's car czar when Saab was sold from GM to Spyker Cars, tells Dagens Industri that he believes that Saab will get out of the current financial fix:

- I can only observe this situation from the outside, but my experience is that Muller does not give up and keeps on working until he has solved it, so I would think that a solution will be found this time too.

And Hägglund still believes in Saab:
- Saab is a small player with quite small volumes, but I think they are on the right track by making agreements with partners around engines and future parts. This is exactly how they have to work.

Lars Carlström, Vladimir Antonov's Swedish spokesman, tells Dagens Industri that he is certain that the cash crisis at Saab will be solved shortly.

- We [Antonov's negotiators and the Swedish Government] are working on it and I believe we'll have an agreement on the issue and that the situation will be resolved, says Carlström about the Government's view on Antonov [becoming a part owner of Saab].
When will the situation be resolved from Antonov's point of view?
- We hope to have it ready the next day or days, says Carlström.
