Earlier this week Saab first secured short-term funding and then mid-term funding. The aim is to have the manufacturing up and running again next week. And they will have more than enough to do. According to Dagens Industri, the order books show that 5,000 Saab cars are waiting to be produced and shipped to the buyers. When the factory restarts the production will be 220 cars each day. In other words, Saab needs one month to produce all cars that are on order.
