MSN Cars tests the Saab 9-5 Sedan 1.6 turbo

Are you thinking about buying a new Saab 9-5 Sedan with the 1.6 turbo engine and you're uncertain if the engine is good enough for such a big car? Then you should read what MSN Cars says about the engine:

The 1.6 turbocharged petrol is a fine engine with 180hp and a 0-62mph time of 9.0 seconds. It is long-geared to aid fuel economy, the engine sounds relatively pleasing to the ear, and it does an acceptable job of hauling the 9-5's considerable bulk around. There's even enough oomph to swiftly overtake slower traffic.
They also like the specious cabin, the driving position, the value you get for your money and the styling. They are not so impressed by the suspension, the steering and the interior plastic and they can not recommend the Saab over Audi, BMW or Mercedes. But then I'll just have to remind you that many other car magazines claims that the Saab 9-5 is the most fun car to drive in its class. So why not just book a test drive and check it out for yourself?
