After seven weeks with no new Saab cars being produced, the production at Saab in Trollhättan will be back up and running today.
First there will be built a few cars to check that everything is working alright and up to the usual quality. Then full production will commence some time during morning. The production rate will start at around 100 cars. That is less than before the stop when the production was around 220 cars each day. The aim is to be back at around 220 cars next week when the supply of parts and components has stabilized.
Saab's CEO Victor Muller will meet the press around lunch time.
