Working 9 to 5 - Saab back in business

In times of Saab 9-4X test drives and funding announcements, Australian Wentworth Courier brings us a Saab 9-5 Sedan test drive! And they like the car a lot. Here are some quotes from the test:

The ride in the capacious sedan is pretty good. The seats are top class, there’s a lot of room front and back, plus 60/40 splitfold backrests that can expand the 513-litre boot.

The 2.8 V6 has loads of mumbo and despatches the two-tonne Aero to 100kmh in less than seven seconds.

It cruises easily, has excellent balance and straight line stability and zips through corners with confidence.

Fuel economy is 11.3litres/100km and emissions are 262g/km CO2 .

Its electronic-boost steering has good feel and a bit of kickback can be felt through the tighter corners - something keen drivers don’t mind.

The nicely-built and beautifully-finished 9-5 measures up well in its class and retains classic Saab features like the ignition on the console between the front seats and the ‘hockey stick’ side window design.

Seems like the sun is shining on Saab this week! :)
