Swedish Dagens Industri reports that their sources tell them that a American investor is planning to become part owner of Saab. An investment that would make it possible to restart the Trollhättan car factory.
According to DI, Saab is hoping that a deal can be reached during this week. Saab's CEO Victor Muller has been in the US the past two weeks looking for funding and has been in negotiations with several American investors.
"I can confirm that Victor Muller is working hard to raise both long term and short-term capital to create a stable situation for Saab. More than that, I can not say, "says Gunilla Gustavs at Saab's information department.
