More on National Electric Vehicle Sweden

Yesterday we got the news that Chinese Youngman had been dropped as a buyer of Saab and that the bankruptcy administrators now presumably are in negotiations with a consortium registered in Sweden under the name National Electric Vehicle Sweden. Today local Trollhättan newspaper TTELA sheds some light on this company.

According to TTELA, the owners of National Electric Vehicle Sweden are foreign companies National Modern Holding Energy LTD with 51 percent of the shares and Sun Investment LLC with 49 percent.

The object of the company is described as "development of electric vehicles and vehicle components and related business."

The only member of the board of directors is Karl-Erling Trogen, former CEO Volvo Trucks, and alternate director is Mikael Kubu. Kubu is CEO of the law firm Ackordcentralen, which specializes in bankruptcies.

If this is the company that ends up as buyer of Saab, a decision that could come as early as next week, then we can expect more information shortly.
