Saab to sponsor Wales Open

I'm not much of a golfer. I tried it a few times and had mixed luck. But I accept that it's a sport that is growing rapidly. More and more people play golf and millions actually enjoy wathcing golf on the TV.

So maybe Saab sponsoring the Wales Open golf tournament is a good idea?

Here's what the press release says about the sponsorship:

The Celtic Manor Resort is proud to announce Saab as the new title sponsor for its flagship European Tour golf event – the Saab Wales Open.

The sponsorship deal with premium car manufacturer Saab launches an exciting new chapter in the history of the tournament which, since inception in 2000, has established itself as one of the leading events on The European Tour International Schedule.

Also looks like parts of the Saab Golf Week is set for worldwide TV coverage.
