This is the Saab 9-3 SportCombi which runs on gasoline, ethanol and biogas (compressed natural gas). Back in February TTELA could report that there was great interest for a biogas fueled Saab. 100 model year 2010 cars had already been sold and ANA was about to start building another 300 cars for model year 2011. And now YOU can buy one of these cars!
Even though the car has both a gasoline/ethanol fuel tank and a biogas tank, it is still a wagon with space for suitcases and groceries. Here's a picture from TTELA which shows the rear tunk and the biogas tank.
The Saab 9-3 SportCombi biogas car was the motor journalist’s choice when Gröna Bilister (the Swedish Association of Green Motorists) in June presented their Best Environmental Car award.
