Colbeck will focus on Saab's business strategy following its departure from General Motors and acquisition by Dutch niche carmaker Swedish Automobile, along with insight on why he joined Saab during such a tumultuous period in the company's history. "The automotive industry has its eye on Saab as it navigates through these tough times," said Laura Burstein, Motor Press Guild President. "As members of the press, we look forward to Mr. Colbeck's presentation and his take on what will become of Saab's future."
Colbeck's remarks will provide MPG members with greater detail on why Saab had to recently stop production, and also highlight what the company is doing to avoid such drastic circumstances again. "We are convinced that we are coming out of this crisis stronger than ever before, while at the same time realizing that we have to work hard to regain the lost confidence in the marketplace," said Timothy Colbeck, President and COO, Saab Cars North America.
